Artist's Comments
This was an assignment for Digital Typography class. We had to make an interactive manifesto about design and it had to include the following:
- It had to say "Up with (something). Down with (something)." - It had to have a title other than "Up with/Down with" or "Manifesto" - We had to provide at least three visual examples for our up withs/down withs. (I went overboard by coming up with three sub-categories and two-examples for each.) - We had to design a sitemap and web wireframe (for each page). - We had to design it for 800x600 pixels. I chose to do it in Flash since I'm learning flash this quarter and hoooooboy! I did NOT think it was going to be that troublesome. There's at least 40 hours in this. And there still remain some annoying little bugs but for the most part it works and that's good enough for me right now! If you're wondering where I got an image you can ask because I have all my sources cited elsewhere. Special thanks to ZaneAsylum - I used Zane's DA tutorial for the ocean waves at the surface of the water there. |

And FYI - there is a reason that when all the example boxes are loaded they are in the shape of a Z. It's because Z is the coordinate for depth and this is the "Deep" manifesto!! (Ahhhhh Ravie so smart!)
